Peshtigo National Bank Joins Power of Community Week

Peshtigo National Bank was proud to participate in the Wisconsin Bankers Association’s (WBA) eighth annual Power of Community Week, which took place April 21–26, 2025. This statewide campaign united banks and financial institutions to give back to the communities they serve through volunteerism and community service projects.

Peshtigo National Bank President & CEO Kelly M. Heroux emphasized the importance of community involvement: "We take pride in being a community-focused bank, and initiatives like Power of Community Week allowed us to demonstrate that commitment firsthand. Our employees are passionate about giving back, and we were excited to see the positive impact we made together."

Each of Peshtigo National Bank’s branches engaged in local service activities that addressed community needs and fostered positive change. Here’s how each branch made a difference:

  • Peshtigo Branch: Volunteered at the Town of Peshtigo Fire Department and the Menominee Animal Shelter, and helped clean up along the Peshtigo River in the City of Peshtigo.
  • Marinette Branch: Cleaned up Stephenson Island to help maintain its beauty and accessibility for residents and visitors.
  • Coleman Branch: Delivered fresh coffee, lattes, and more to individuals and businesses as a token of appreciation.
  • Gillett Branch: shared OJ’s pies with valued customers and clients as a sweet gesture of thanks.
  • Oconto Falls Branch: As a gesture of appreciation for local first responders, the team assembled care packages filled with snacks and essentials for EMS, firefighters, and other emergency personnel who serve the community.
  • Antigo Branch: Assisted with Springbrook Walking Trail cleanup to enhance the scenic path for community enjoyment.

Heroux further expressed her enthusiasm: "The Power of Community Week embodied our core values at Peshtigo National Bank. It was a time to celebrate and reinforce our dedication to serving and uplifting the communities that supported us. We were incredibly proud to be part of this initiative."
